About the Job:



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Analyzes customer business requirements and product objectives to develop and ensure that the solution and design in ServiceNow meet customer specifications and expectations.
  • Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow, administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, and custom application development.
  • Coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues related to DP World's IT Service Management.
  • Identify the gaps of DP World's ITSM instance and recommend / provide solutions.
  • Follow and implement the best practices of ITSM around development, change release deployments, integration etc.
  • Perform proper and in-depth analysis to ensure business continuity when deploying new changes to ITSM's environment.
  • Closely collaborate with ServiceNow product team to ensure that DP World's ITSM is up to date in terms of product developments/releases.
  • Demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to potential users and existing customers within DP World and its sub entities.
  • Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.
  • Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables.
  • Write high quality distributed system software.
  • Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.
  • In this role you will lead a critical and highly visible function within DP World International Expansion Business.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Basic qualifications

· Minimum 4 yrs. of demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development, configuration and administration.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education

· Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structure, algorithm, distributed system design, database, and design patterns.

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and DevOps automation

· REST, JavaScript/Typescript, Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Angular, ReactJS, Vue, AWS, machine learning, geolocation and mapping API

Preferred qualifications

· Strong understanding of ServiceNow applications and modules, understanding the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow solution.

· Hands on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and good understanding of ITIL and/or ITIL certified.

· Experience in JavaScript, Angular, PowerShell, CSS, HTML, Jelly, Web Services (REST/SOAP).

· Experience in training machine learning models or developing machine learning infrastructure.

· Strong communications skills; you will be required to proactively engage colleagues both inside and outside of your team

· Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
