Role Summary: The Client Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for guiding new clients through the account setup process, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience. This role plays a key part in client satisfaction and compliance by managing KYC, account verification, and initial support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Registration and KYC Compliance: Manage all aspects of client onboarding, including KYC documentation and verification, to meet regulatory standards.
- Account Setup and Activation: Oversee client account creation, ID setup, and activation for trading accounts, ensuring an efficient setup process.
- Client Support and Communication: Act as the primary contact for new clients during onboarding, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Data Entry and Documentation: Ensure accurate client data entry in systems and maintain organized, accessible records for audit readiness.
- Collaboration with Ops and Compliance Teams: Work closely with operations and compliance teams to ensure a compliant and streamlined onboarding process.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in client onboarding or client service, preferably within financial services, broking, or investment advisory.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, KYC standards, and AML requirements for the financial sector.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage client interactions and resolve queries efficiently.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems, client data management software, and back-office systems used in the broking industry.
- Detail Orientation: High attention to detail, with the ability to manage and verify extensive documentation accurately.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle and resolve onboarding issues quickly and effectively, ensuring a positive client experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in customer service or AML/KYC are advantageous.
