The role involves managing tax compliance, reporting, and advisory services for US entities, while ensuring compliance withIRS regulations and US GAAP requirements . The candidate should have strong exposure toUS Federal and State tax laws , along with proven ability to interact with US-based clients and stakeholders, providing strategic insights and building trusted relationships. Key ResponsibilitiesUS Corporate Tax Compliance & ReportingOversee preparation and filing of US Federal, State, and Local tax returns.Ensure compliance withUS GAAP, IRS regulations, and tax deadlines .Review and manage tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and reconciliations. Client Interaction & AdvisoryAct as a primary point of contact forUS clients , providing updates, clarifications, and guidance.Understand client requirements, deliver tax solutions, and build long-term relationships.Present tax strategies and reports to US stakeholders and senior management. Tax Planning & StrategyProvide tax planning advice to optimize US corporate tax liabilities.Analyze business transactions, mergers, and cross-border activities for tax implications.Monitor US tax law updates and assess their impact on clients/business. Audit Support & RepresentationManage US tax audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.Prepare necessary documentation and liaise with US auditors and tax authorities. Leadership & Team DevelopmentMentor and guide junior team members on US tax processes and compliance.Ensure high-quality deliverables within deadlines across client portfolios.Drive process improvements intax compliance, reporting, and client servicing . Qualifications & SkillsChartered Accountant (CA) with 10–13 years of post-qualification experience inUS Corporate Taxation .Strong working knowledge ofUS Federal and State tax laws, IRS regulations, and US GAAP .Proven track record ofdirect interaction with US clients and stakeholders .Experience in tax compliance, reporting, and advisory for multinational organizations.Proficiency intax software (GoSystem, Corptax, ONESOURCE, etc.)and MS Excel.Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.Ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and handle complex tax scenarios.
