Position- SFDC Manual QA Tester Mandatory-Salesforce is mandatory Exp-5+ Years Notice- Immediate joiner Location- Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & KolkataAbout the Role We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Manual QA Tester to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of our Salesforce (SFDC) implementations and customizations. You will work closely with Salesforce developers, business analysts, and project managers to design test strategies, execute test cases, and identify defects, playing a critical role in delivering a seamless user experience on the Salesforce platform.Key Responsibilities Test Planning & Design: Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical design documents to create comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases. Develop and maintain test data requirements to support test execution. Define clear and measurable acceptance criteria for user stories. Test Execution & Defect Management: Perform various types of manual testing includingFunctional, Regression, Integration, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support . Execute test cases across different Salesforce environments (Sandbox, Production). Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, and severity levels using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar. Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure no existing functionality is broken. Salesforce-Specific Testing: Test Salesforce configuration changes (e.g., custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, Process Builder, Flows, validation rules). Test customizations built with Apex (Triggers, Classes) and Visualforce/Lightning Web Components. Verify data integrity and performance of data imports/exports using Data Loader or other ETL tools. Test security and access controls (Profiles, Permission Sets, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules). Validate reports and dashboards for accuracy and performance. Collaboration & Process: Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives. Collaborate effectively with developers and BAs to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports. Required Qualifications & Experience 4+ years of experienceas a Manual QA Tester, with a proven track record in software quality assurance. Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experiencetestingSalesforce.com(SFDC)applications. Strong understanding of theSalesforce platform's core functionalities(Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Platform). Solid understanding ofQA methodologies, test case design techniques, and the SDLC/STLC . Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans. Hands-on experience withdefect tracking and test management tools(e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, qTest). Experience testing integrations between Salesforce and other external systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification. Basic understanding ofSOQLfor data validation. Familiarity withAgile/Scrumdevelopment methodologies. Experience withAPI testingusing Postman or similar tools. Knowledge oftest automation conceptsand exposure to automation tools like Provar, Selenium, or Copado Robotic Testing is a plus. Experience withPerformance or Security Testingis a bonus.
