The role involves developing, planning, and executing manual test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software and applications. Key responsibilities include identifying and documenting bugs, collaborating with developers to resolve issues, and conducting thorough testing to validate performance and compliance with specifications. The Manual Tester will also contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans while optimizing testing processes.Qualifications- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including black-box testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing - Experience with test case creation, defect reporting, and test management tools - Capability to analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively to ensure quality deliverables - Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and bug life cycle - Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies used in manual testing - Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach - Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with development and QA teams - Experience in testing cybersecurity or enterprise applications is a plus - Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) or a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
