KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy and Planning

Annual strategy planning for IT function Identification of cost save opportunities and disruptive tech

Vendor Management

Resolve any vendor related concerns Liaison between business partner and business stakeholders Develop & sustain long lasting relationships

Financial Management

Calculation of run rate and burn rate vs. allocated budgets Provisioning and other book-keeping for ongoing contracts Supervising the PR/PO process for vendors

Stakeholder Management and Communications

Prepare and communicate budgetary dashboards, dashboards for key fulfilment KPIs and variance analysis Managing a subset of COO Program Office: Project management of functional governance structures, tracking next steps.

Team management

Goal setting and monitoring of budgets Performance monitoring, feedback and development Upskilling and retention of key talent

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Improvement in VSAT Be a constant force of change and innovation for the organization, challenging status quo and bringing new ideas for testing and incubation Successful archival of knowledge and dissemination of it across business functions Positive feedback and appreciation from business owners and decision makers.

KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED

8-10 years; Presently should be in corporate strategy/ Vendor Management/ Budgeting related roles for large businesses/ Engagement Managers in top tier consulting firms Excellent academic track record Ability to work with cross functional teams; strong networking and inter‐personal skills Detail‐oriented, organized, critical thinker with strong work ethics Excellent communication skills and a thoughtful, persuasive personal style. Self-starter, comfortable in a project-oriented environment and comfortable in dealing with large cross functional projects. Ability to influence key stakeholders and operational owners through well-articulated strategies backed up with metric driven value statements. Analytical skills and judgment to solve problems with limited information at hand by learning and using Statistical tools and logics. Ability to develop, test and validate hypotheses. Should be competent at analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data. Life insurance experience a plus, but not mandatory
