Job Description :

Compass Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated Front End Software Developer to join our team in Washington State, USA. As a Front End Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing user interfaces for our web-based applications. You will work closely with our design and back-end development teams to create intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive user :

  • Develop and maintain user-facing features for web applications using modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or QA team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role.
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Angular.js, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with responsive design and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or Selenium.
  • Knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as SASS or LESS.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
