Requirement


Our Client is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic team. The Deputy CFO will play a crucial role in supporting the CFO in overseeing the financial management and strategic planning functions of the company.


Responsibilities:


  • Financial Strategy: Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the FP&A function to provide insightful analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to optimize financial performance and support decision-making processes.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, alignment with strategic objectives, and timely reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Manage the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Cost Management: Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and enhance profitability.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring robust risk management practices across the organization.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and standards, including tax laws, GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and senior leadership to support strategic initiatives and drive organizational success.
  • Audit Management: Manage internal and external audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring timely resolution of any audit findings.


Qualifications:


  • Chartered Accountant (CA) and Cost Accountant (CMA) qualifications are mandatory.
  • 12 to 15 years of progressive experience in financial management in a process industry .
  • Proven track record of leadership and strategic thinking, with the ability to drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and professionalism.
