Senior Data Engineer

Must-Have skills :

- 5+ years' experience in ELT systems (Snowflake and DOMO)

- Must have experience in digital marketing projects.

- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools

Preferred Qualifications :

- Domo Certification or equivalent.

- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the ETL processes for end-to-end data ingestion and transformation across Snowflake and DOMO ELT systems.

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Domo to ingest, transform, and store data from various sources.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions for data integration and reporting needs.

- Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers.

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data engineering.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Strong understanding and experience (5+ years) of ETL principles and best practices.

- High level of knowledge using SQL and Python.

- Experience in designing and implementing robust data pipelines.

- Strong attention to detail with clear documentation and process maps developed for each data output.

- Strong experience managing cloud ecosystem resources (EG AWS, Azure and GCP).

- Proactive approach to solution designing becoming a "trusted advisor" within the team.

- Proficient in Domo ETL development, data modelling, and reporting.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.

- Knowledge of data integration, ETL tools, and data pipeline orchestration.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
