Job Description
The External Fibre Sales Associate is responsible for proactively engaging with potential customers in designated communities to promote and sell our fibre internet services. This role involves direct interaction with residents through door-to-door sales efforts, requiring effective communication and a customer-focused approach. The Sales Associate will report to a team leader and play a crucial role in expanding our customer base.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Door-to-Door Sales: Engage with residents in assigned communities to promote and sell fibre internet services, effectively communicating the benefits and features of our offerings.

  • Walking Routes: Follow designated walking routes to maximize coverage and reach potential customers within the community.

  • Educational Outreach: Educate potential customers about the advantages of our fibre internet services and answer any questions or concerns they may have.

  • Feedback Reporting: Provide detailed feedback and insights after each shift, including customer interactions, concerns, and market trends.

  • Working Hours: Work between 15:00 and 19:00 from Monday to Friday and between 08:00 and 12:00 on Saturdays.

  • Sales Reporting: Accurately record and upload sales data into both client systems and our internal systems for tracking and reporting purposes.

  • Customer Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with potential customers and leave a favourable impression of the company.


Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to walk for extended periods and follow designated routes
  • Sales or customer service experience is a plus
  • Reliable and punctual

Reporting Structure:

The External Fibre Sales Associate will report to a designated Team Leader who will provide guidance, support, and performance feedback.

Requirements
Excellent verbal communication skills to deliver the sales pitch effectively and engage with potential leads. Ability to articulate the benefits of solar energy and convey ongoing offers Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with individuals in the targeted neighborhoods. Comfortable approaching and interacting with people at their residences. Basic understanding of sales techniques and the ability to persuade leads to consider solar solutions. Reliable and punctual for door-to-door visits to ensure the planned schedule is adhered to. Careful attention to detail during the lead sign-up process to accurately capture all required information. Physical stamina to handle door-to-door visits and potentially cover a significant number of residences in a day. Strict adherence to the provided procedures, including using the referral link, wearing branded T-shirts, and distributing materials as instructed. Proficiency in using smartphones or tablets to facilitate the lead sign-up process using QR codes and referral links. Conduct all activities in an ethical manner, respecting privacy and following local laws and regulations. Willingness to undergo training sessions to understand the sales pitch script, lead sign-up process, and other relevant details. Capability to maintain accurate records and provide real-time and weekly reports on referred leads as per the guidelines.
