We are looking for a Billing Specialist II who is enthusiastic, team-oriented, and experienced in Billing and who takes each inquiry as an opportunity to delight our customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work both independently and with a broader team. Billing Specialist II will need to be motivated, flexible, and able to shift gears when priorities and workloads change.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and customer account amendments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform daily billing and assist cash application team on clearing outstanding invoices
  • Handle inquiries of Billing Support queue, supporting all invoicing and billing support functions for external and internal customers
  • Ensure deliverables are met as per defined targets and SLAs for nonstrategic clients
  • Effectively manage all Billing Support queries by collaborating cross functionally and with management
  • Process credit card payments and refunds in a timely manner
  • Research complex accounting errors or billing discrepancies, utilizing system functions to ensure compliance with applicable controls
  • Partner with International counterparts, ensuring that efficient processes aligned globally are being followed
  • Assist in preparation of all Accounts Receivable reconciliations during month end close
  • Drive process improvements in accounts receivables, cash applications, credit management, and collections
  • Perform additional duties for audit and compliance

Skills & Requirements

  • 4 – 6 years of relevant experience dealing with billing and accounting functions
  • Excellent communication skills to promote cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work and manage projects independently with a team player attitude
  • Innovative – ability to identify process improvements and efficiencies. Providing recommendations to automate existing process in line with company policies and procedures
  • Willingness to learn through practical application
  • Attentive to details
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience with NetSuite and Sales force will be an added advantage
