Job Description: Senior Accountant

Location: Borivali West

Department: Finance & Accounts

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

· Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

· Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).

· Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management review.

· Coordinate and support internal and external audits.

· Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.

· Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.

· Review and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

· Supervise junior accountants and support staff when needed.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or CA Inter preferred).

· Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting experience.

· Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.

· Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and income tax.

· Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

· CA Inter or CMA Inter certification.

· Experience in handling audits and finalization of accounts.
