Quidich Innovation Labs is a global company headquartered in Mumbai, India that pioneers in customized technology solutions for Sports Broadcast. Building on this thinking, we have created various technology tools over the past five years and deployed them at tournaments such as the Indian Premier League, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, ICC Women’s World Cup, and Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, to name a few.

Role:

As a Tech Lead specializing in DevOps, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of DevOps practices within our organization. Your primary objective will be to streamline our software development processes, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration between development and operations teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement DevOps strategies aligned with the organization's objectives to enhance software delivery processes.2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance on best practices, technologies, and methodologies.3. Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.4. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.5. Cloud Management: Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.6. Containerization and Orchestration: Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or similar platforms to enhance scalability and portability.7. Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health, performance, and security of applications and infrastructure.8. Security: Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices for secure software development and infrastructure.9. Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration and communication between development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software delivery processes.10. Problem-solving: Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues related to build, deployment, and infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).- Proven experience in a DevOps role with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle.- Experience leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers.- Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Shell, or PowerShell).- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.- Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services.- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana).- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
