about the role

Job Description:

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solutions Expert\ Architects with DevOps expertise to join our team at Orange Business. The successful candidates will be instrumental in deploying our new data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), supporting the creation of new applications, and leading the migration of existing Hadoop-based applications to GCP. You will leverage cloud-native services provided by GCP to design scalable, cost-efficient, and secure architectures for our analytics and artificial intelligence , cloud computing, and Google Cloud Platform services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud solutions that meet the business requirements and are aligned with our company's strategic goals. Lead the migration of existing Hadoop HDP-based applications to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. Use GCP services such as BigQuery, DataProc, DataFlow, Dataplex, and VertexAI to build robust data platforms. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and production monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps methodologies within the cloud architecture. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation regarding cloud architectures and DevOps processes. Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability; develop and maintain disaster recovery plans. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members and stakeholders. Provide architectural design patterns to project teams. Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company innovate and stay competitive.

about you

Required Skills (must have) :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable. Proven experience in designing and deploying applications on GCP. Deep knowledge of data and artificial intelligence architectures Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including automation, configuration management, and CI/CD. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
