Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Bio-based CompositesLocation : Noida, India (Hybrid)Role Type : Co-founder / Equity + Salary after fundingAbout the Role:We’re seeking a visionary Material Scientist or Mechanical Engineer to lead R&D and product formulation for India’s first 100% natural fibre–reinforced composite systems. You will drive experiments with hemp and flax fibres, develop bio-resin blends, and work toward 800–1000 MPa tensile-strength targets.Responsibilities:Design and test composite layups, fibre/resin ratios, and surface treatments.Develop scalable processes for compression moulding, RTM, and hot pressing.Collaborate with labs/universities for tensile, flexural, and impact testing.Lead IP filings and technical documentation.Build and manage a small R&D team.Ideal Background:PhD/M.Tech in Polymer Science, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering.5+ years of experience in composite materials (epoxy, polyester, or bio-resins).Knowledge of natural fibre surface chemistry and composite reinforcement.Passion for sustainability and automotive materials innovation.Equity : 15-17% + Co-founder title.
