Key Responsibilities

  • Tandoor Preparation:Marinate meats and other ingredients for tandoori dishes, prepare dough for bread like naan, and ensure all ingredients are ready for cooking.
  • Tandoor Operation:Cook tandoori dishes in the tandoor oven according to established recipes and standards.
  • Station Maintenance:Keep the tandoor station clean, organized, and properly sanitized, adhering to high hygiene standards.
  • Ingredient Management:Receive deliveries, verify quality and quantity, monitor stock levels, and notify supervisors of low supplies.
  • Quality Control:Ensure food is prepared and presented to meet the restaurant's standards and recipes.
  • Safety and Sanitation:Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with senior chefs and the culinary team to achieve kitchen goals.

Skills and Experience

  • Specialized Cuisine Knowledge:Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and techniques for tandoor cooking.
  • Cooking Skills:Proficiency in preparing and cooking tandoori specialties such as kebabs, naan, and roti.
  • Kitchen Operations:Experience in food preparation, kitchen management, and ensuring food safety standards.
  • Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks common in a kitchen environment.
  • Attention to Detail:Meticulousness in measuring, preparing, and presenting food.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18, ₹22,000.00 per month
