Salesforce QA Engineer (CPQ Specialist)

We are seeking a detail-oriented
Salesforce QA Engineer
with strong expertise in
Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote)
to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and validating Salesforce applications and enhancements with a focus on CPQ functionalities, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance in our CRM ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce CPQ features and other related modules.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across Salesforce instances and CPQ processes.
  • Validate pricing rules, product configurations, quote generation, approval workflows, discounting logic, and contract generation.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand CPQ requirements and ensure proper coverage of test scenarios.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Support UAT and production release testing; work closely with release management and deployment teams.
  • Maintain QA documentation and contribute to test automation where applicable (e.g., Selenium, Provar, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, including SOX or data privacy policies where relevant.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in
    Salesforce QA testing
    , with
    at least 1-2 years in Salesforce CPQ
    .
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ modules: Product Configuration, Price Rules, Quote Templates, Discount Schedules, and Approvals.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and other CRM-related integrations.
  • Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
  • Knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and basic Salesforce architecture concepts is a plus.
  • Experience with QA automation tools (optional but preferred).
  • Salesforce Administrator or CPQ Specialist certification is a plus.
