Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee the 360-degree delivery of IoT projects. The ideal candidate will manage distributed teams, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and ensure the seamless execution of projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of IoT technologies, project management, and supply chain coordination.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of IoT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.


Team Management:

  • Manage and coordinate distributed teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across different time zones.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to team members, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to track progress, address challenges, and celebrate successes.


Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to align project goals with business objectives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and addressing concerns.


Operational Excellence:

  • Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability of IoT project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and user manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.


Performance Monitoring:

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular status reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, risks, and opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing complex IoT projects, preferably with distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of IoT technologies, including hardware, software, and connectivity solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and experience in coordinating with supply chain teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.


Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional travel to meet with distributed teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate different time zones.
