We are seeking a self-motivated and proactive Local SEO & GMB Optimisation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in local SEO and Google My Business (GMB) management. They should be able to follow instructions with a clear understanding of the end goal, take the initiative to improve processes, and work independently to achieve objectives. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to optimise our company's online presence, increase local search visibility, and drive local customer engagement.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with SEO managers and other in-house marketing teams- Manage and optimize Google My Business (GMB) listings- Claim and verify the company's GMB listings, ensuring accurate business information- Update photos and videos to GMB listings periodically to showcase the business- Monitor and track the performance of GMB listings, using data to inform strategy- Maintain and update company information in online directories- Conduct local link building and citation building to improve local SEO- Manage the company's backlink profile with local relevant websites- Perform keyword research and competitive analysis for local markets- Present and communicate SEO strategies to clients and internal stakeholders- Maintain and update spreadsheets and SEO tools as needed- Demonstrate excellent communication and project management skills- Exhibit a self-starter attitude with the ability to follow instructions and understand end goals- Display initiative in improving processes with the end goal in mind- Providing cover for the ORM reporting staff when needed- Other tasks as required, assigned by the ORM manager

Note: Candidate is required to work 6 days a week from office.

Candidate should be from the hospitality industry (Hotel & Resorts)

Experience

- Proven experience in local SEO and GMB/GBP optimization- Strong understanding of local search ranking factors and best practices- Proficiency in keyword research and competitive analysis- Familiarity with online directory management and citation building- Knowledge of link building strategies and backlink profile management- Experience with press release management and content creation- Exceptional communication and project management skills- Self-starter attitude and the ability to work independently- Proficient in using SEO tools and spreadsheets

- Surfer SEO- Ahrefs and/or SEMRush- Google SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
