CEO - Akshay Krishnaiah (Founder, CEO) - Overview: We are searching for a Head of Credit Risk and Decision Science who is a strategic innovator with hands-on experience in machine learning infrastructure and data science. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of building ML systems and stay actively engaged with the data science community to keep abreast of the latest technological advancements.
Role And Responsibilities
Design and implement a forward-thinking credit risk strategy that supports our unique lending model.
Lead a team skilled in Risk Strategy, Model Creation, Model Training, Model Validation, Risk Operations, Collections, and more.
Foster collaboration with Capital Markets teams and Investment Bankers to create financial models and projections for debt financing.
Utilize expertise in data science and engineering to advance our risk assessment and mitigation systems.
Maintain hands-on involvement in the team’s activities, ensuring mastery over Fraud Modelling, Payment Risk, and Chargeback Management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Statistics is required.
Deep understanding and practical experience in building ML systems using platforms like Outerbound, Metaflow, or similar.
Active participation in the data science community, such as solving problems on Kaggle.
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Vector Databases, and Vector Computers.
Extensive background in unsecured consumer lending.
Ability to perform all roles within the risk management team.
Preference for candidates with a Master’s in Management, particularly with a specialization in Finance or Statistics.
At least 7 years of leadership experience in credit risk management within fintech or financial services.
