As a member of our inclusive education team, you'll play a vital role in supporting teachers and fostering a positive learning environment for students. Your Responsibilities:  As our Inclusive Education Support Officer at Gleeson College, you will: Build strong connections with students who have diverse learning needs, guiding and supporting them throughout their secondary education. Support students with additional needs to thrive in the classroom. Build professional relationships with staff, collaborating to support student learning. Engage in school life by accompanying students on events, excursions, and camps. You:  Have a Certificate IV in Education Support (or equivalent) and/or relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience in a comparable role. We welcome students studying to be a teacher to apply. Can demonstrate a broad knowledge of a range of inclusive and supportive behaviour techniques to positively contribute to student learning. Are committed to professional development and life-long learning. Are able to develop positive relationships with students, families and colleagues. Are available to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and completed RRHAN-EC training.  Can actively contribute to the Catholic ethos of the College, and support and represent the College community as outlined in the Gleeson 10 and Gleeson Staff 5.
