About the Role We are seeking passionate and caring Education Support Officers to join our supportive and collaborative team. The successful candidates will support the learning, wellbeing, and inclusion of students across a range of year levels and abilities. Key Responsibilities Assist students in small group and 1:1 settings to support learning across all curriculum areas. Support teachers to identify, implement, and record adjustments and differentiation strategies. Contribute to a safe, calm, and positive learning environment through effective behaviour support. Provide support for students with diverse needs, following Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL). Assist with physical requirements of students requiring special care. Build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families. Implement targeted learning and social/emotional intervention programs. About You You are a compassionate, team-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. You will bring: A genuine passion for supporting student learning and wellbeing. Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare, or allied health setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport. Flexibility, initiative, and the capacity to respond to diverse student needs. Experience in implementing learning intervention programs such as MiniLit or be willing to undertake training. An understanding of effective learning support for students with trauma-based backgrounds. A commitment to the Catholic ethos and Franciscan values of care, respect, and community. The preferred candidate will be required to undergo screening: A current Catholic Police Check or DCSI screening Certification in Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect – Education and Care A valid First Aid Certificate (Certificate IV or Diploma in Education Support, or equivalent qualification, is desirable.)
