Cardijn College Galilee in Aldinga enrols students from Reception to Year 9, providing a nurturing environment with an emphasis on ecological awareness and a personalised sense of belonging. About the Role As an ESO, you will work under the direction of the Principal to support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences. You’ll play a vital role in assisting students with diverse educational needs, contributing to classroom activities, and helping shape a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in student learning and classroom activities with discretion and initiative. Support students with special needs in accordance with Personalised Plans for Learning (PPL). Collaborate with teachers to adapt educational programs and resources. Supervise students during excursions, sports days, and other activities. Provide specialist support in areas such as music, languages, science, and technology. Participate actively in school events, professional development, and team meetings. What You’ll Bring Certificate IV in Education Support (or equivalent) and/or relevant experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusive education. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team. Proficiency in ICT and educational tools. A genuine passion for student wellbeing and learning. Essential Requirements Current Working with Children Check (WWCC). Certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect. First Aid qualification (as directed).
