Sr. Server Administrator Full-Time

Role & Responsibility:
Design, install and configure internal and production servers, network devices and firewalls. Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it. Proactively manage, maintain and monitor server, network and firewall systems Monitor and analyze Server Log and error logs Analyze reasons for Server downtime and suggest solutions Maintain the High availability on all production servers (Zero Downtime) Manage Server Traffic and analyze traffic report Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability) Experience in migrating large enterprise applications to the AWS cloud. Demonstrate knowledge of DevOps toolchains and processes Develop procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature and user abuse. Run Security and health audit on LAN and WAN infrastructure to ensure everything works seamlessly. Backup Management of Complete Infrastructure- Develop procedures, programs and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications. Create Backup of Production Server on AWS as Image Copy and delete Old backups Create and manage database backup of production Server. Upgrade or downgrade Production Server as per the requirements Manage the CDN services like Cloudfront and Akamai Hardware Management Manage in-house computer host systems including hardware, software, and equipment such UPS (uninterrupted power system) Coordinate with Vendors for new hardware requests Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation Maintain and manage the Software Licenses up to date Address issues related to technical problems faced by employees, and improving efficiency by evaluating system network functions. Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance Stay updated with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways for the company to take advantage of new technology. Maintain the computer networking system by tracking server activity, performing upgrades of software.Technical Skills:

Should have sound knowledge of Linux/UNIX administration, CentOS and Windows Should have a sound knowledge of AWS Core Services like EC2, S3, RDS, Load balancer, Autoscaling, Aurora MySQL, Cloudfront, IAM user permission, Redis Cache, SES email services, route 53, VPC, storage, etc. Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.). Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Alertops, Pagerduty, etc. Past experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is a plus. For example, the Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM). Should have a sound knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD processes and tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Confluence, Packer, Terraform, Vagrant, Docker, SonarQube. Have containerized deployments through docker containers and orchestrated through Kubernetes Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability Experience in migrating large enterprise applications to the AWS cloud. Should have good knowledge about the SSL Certifications Should have a good Knowledge about setup the new Linux (Centos) server on demand and install and update PHP, MySQL, postfix, Mongodb on all the production and Local Servers Should have good knowledge about the CDN services like Akamai and Cloudfront Should have a sound knowledge about the Security Services like incapsula and Cloudflare Should have good knowledge about the DNS, A record, and Cnameetc Managing deployments/rollouts Should be comfortable working with Cronjobs A solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking Ability to troubleshoot network issues Should have a sound knowledge about the firewall and antivirus applications like Sophos. Strong communication and documentation skills Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns. Maintain overall industry knowledge on the latest trends, technology Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS and other cloud services Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for applications Consultation Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies Provide thought leadership in industry and to fellow team members across the business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements Advocate and define cloud architecture vision from a strategic perspective, including internal and external platforms, tools, and systems monitoring.Preferred Qualification & Experience:
B.Tech/ B.E-Computer Science/ MCA. 6+ years of overall IT Experience. 3+ years of AWS cloud Experience. AWS Solution Architect Certification (Good to have)
