We operate with a clear responsibility to provide operational insights ensuring intelligence is fully integrated into the ABF operations. This strengthens the overall effectiveness of delivering a single unified vision of Intelligence across the ABF. This recruitment will seek to fill a number of existing and expected vacancies across ABF Intelligence branch including: Regional Intelligence Teams National Disruption Group (Illicit Tobacco and Vapes) Tobacco and Vapes Intelligence Financial Intelligence. Duties and responsibilities Plan and scope moderately complex intelligence analysis Detect patterns, relationships and anomalies in data using intelligence tradecraft, analytical tools and techniques Evaluate source reliability, content validity and relevance of information/data supporting the intelligence requirements Use a range of structured analytical techniques to develop preliminary inferences and conclusions regarding routine intelligence analysis Establish, develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies to foster collaboration and two-way information sharing on intelligence matters Provide intelligence briefs and oral and written briefings for tactical and operational stakeholders and external customers. Additional information Some positions will require a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance to commence. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance, and:  ABF Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
