The Manager HR & Compliance will oversee all aspects of human resources management and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while fostering a positive work environment conducive to employee well-being and productivity. This role will also focus on maintaining compliance with social, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Building and fire safety, and security certifications, customer requirements, and timely response to internal and external stakeholders.

Role and responsibilities will include:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and industry standards in India.- Maintain social, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Building and fire safety, and security certifications, ensuring adherence to required standards.- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with statutory requirements and ethical standards, including internal audits on social, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Building and fire safety, and security aspects.- Implement corrective actions to address non-compliance issues, with a focus on continuous improvement.- Implement and maintain processes to meet customer requirements, including timely CAP (Corrective Action Plan) closure.- Ensure on-time response to internal and external stakeholders, including customers and escalations.- Maintain customer rating at the green level by meeting or exceeding their expectations.- Conduct training sessions on HR policies, compliance regulations, and workplace ethics, including Epic code of conduct.- Promote awareness and adherence to Epic code of conduct and other relevant policies and procedures.- Facilitate 5S internal audits to maintain workplace organization and efficiency.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to employee data, compliance activities, and audit findings.- Prepare reports on HR metrics, compliance activities, workforce trends, and audit results as required.- Ensure timely submission of reports to internal and external stakeholders, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.- Proven experience in HR management and compliance roles within the garments industry, preferably at the factory level.- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in India.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive information with integrity.- Certification in HR management or compliance is desirable.
