Youth Wellbeing Worker, Part-time/Sessional

Salary: From $105,696 + Super + Sal Sac + Allowances Full time (37.5 hours per week), max term opportunity until 30 June 2026 Training and development opportunities Additional leave and location allowances Reach further with us Join our headspace Pilbara team where you will provide comprehensive clinical assessments and brief interventions for young people and their families along with designing and facilitating group wellbeing programs, activities and events. Additionally, you will facilitate youth focused engagement activities and deliver messages around mental health literacy along with building effective relationships with the community and other service providers. What you will bring You will bring your empathetic nature alongside experience in delivering person-centred, trauma informed services that are culturally appropriate.  Tertiary level qualification in relevant clinical discipline including clinical psychology, psychology, mental health, mental health nursing, social/ behavioural science, social work, youth work or equivalent  Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or equivalent (desirable) Demonstrated experience working with and engaging young people with mental health, alcohol and other drug, sexual health or primary health or work and study concerns from diverse backgrounds. Experience in providing a clinical intake and assessment to young people and their families.  Previous experience in youth program facilitation and coordination The successful candidate must also possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check and a WA Driver’s License.
