We are looking for youth clinicians up for the challenge of helping young people to lead better lives, working in a diverse team to deliver single session interventions through to complex longer term supports, including eating disorders. Full-time and Part-time. positions are currently available. To be considered for this position, you will have (Selection Criteria): Tertiary qualifications (Bachelors or higher) in a relevant discipline, Counselling (ACA Level 3), Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or equivalent. Current membership or registration with an appropriate professional body. Experience providing Single Session Intervention or Brief Intervention to young people. Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, government policies and strategic directions in relation to mental health and alcohol and other drug disorders, particularly as it relates to young people. Demonstrated experience and ability to engage work with and coordinate care for young people aged 12 to 25 years in areas of mental health and substance use intervention. The ability to undertake screening and assessment to determine young person's needs level of risk and to refer to other services as appropriate. Experience in engaging with young people from at risk populations including LGBTIQA+ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, multicultural communities, young men. and young people who are homeless/ at risk of homelessness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. Willingness to work one late shift till 8:00pm (Tuesday or Wednesday).
