If you’ve ever felt like leadership roles or special events weren’t “for you”—this one is. We want your voice, your experience, and your perspective to help shape youth mental health services in our community.As a Youth Reference Group Member, you’ll meet monthly to share ideas, give feedback, and help us create meaningful initiatives that support young people’s wellbeing. You’ll also have the chance to volunteer at events and activations that make a genuine impact. What You’ll Do • Attend one paid meeting per month• Contribute ideas and feedback on youth mental health initiatives• Help design and support community events and campaigns• Represent the voices of young people from all walks of life• Volunteer at occasional events (if you’re keen) Who We’re Looking For You don’t need to be a student leader, public speaker, or mental health expert. We’re looking for young people aged 12- 25 who:• Care about mental health and wellbeing• Want to make a difference in their community• Bring lived experience from any background—especially those who don’t usually get invited to the table• Are open to learning, sharing, and connecting with others Why Join? • Be part of something that matters• Get paid for your time and ideas• Build skills in leadership, advocacy, and event planning• Meet other passionate young people• Help shape services that actually work for youth Interested?
