Job Title: Chartered Accountant – Finance Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Chartered Accountant to join as a Finance Controller for one of our key clients in the Power Sector. The ideal candidate should bring 4 to 7 years of post-qualification experience, with strong domain exposure in power project finance, compliance, and strategic planning.

This role requires leadership capabilities, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of power-sector-specific accounting, taxation, and financial control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations
• Finalisation of accounts in compliance with Indian GAAP
• Oversee taxation compliance – Direct, Indirect Tax, GST, Income Tax
• Manage internal, statutory, and project audits
• Handle project finance operations – fund planning, utilisation, and cost tracking
• Prepare and present financial reports, MIS, and variance analysis
• Implement and monitor financial controls and budgeting systems
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and financial policies
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and auditors for compliance matters
• Drive process improvements for financial efficiency and transparency

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 4 to 7 years of experience in accounting and finance, with major exposure to the Power Sector
• Strong experience in project-based financial management, compliance, and audits
• Hands-on expertise in accounting systems like Tally, SAP, or similar ERPs
• Excellent skills in MS Excel, financial reporting, and data interpretation
• Strong analytical thinking, team leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines
• Male candidates only (due to client-specific operational setup)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹130, ₹150,000.00 per month
