We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for driving market research, product development, user research, compliance, documentation, and program management.

Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction of our products and ensuring their successful implementation. You will conduct comprehensive market research, assist in product development, perform user research, stay abreast of compliance requirements, document business processes, and manage various business projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research:
  • Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse market data to inform strategic decisions and product roadmaps.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Product Development:
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to define product requirements and features.
  • Assist in creating and refining user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Participate in product testing and validation to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • User Research:
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback through surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Analyse user data to identify pain points, needs, and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Work with design and development teams to incorporate user insights into product design.
  • Compliance Awareness:
  • Stay updated on relevant regulatory and compliance requirements affecting the banking sector.
  • Ensure that product features and business processes comply with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in preparing compliance documentation and reports.
  • Documentation of Business Processes:
  • Document and maintain detailed records of business processes and workflows.
  • Create process diagrams, SOPs, and other documentation to support operational efficiency.
  • Continuously review and update documentation to reflect changes in business operations.
  • Program Management:
  • Manage and coordinate various business projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within the fintech or banking industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, JIRA, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking sector.
  • Experience in documenting business processes and creating technical documentation.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised, with a proactive approach to task management.
