Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our Print operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in print management and administration. The General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the print including production, quality control, vendor management and staff development.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of print operations and ensure that production schedules are met and that quality standards are maintained.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and increase profitability.
- Planning & Calculating Paper requirement and negotiating with vendors for paper purchase.
- Visiting Vendors time to time for checking printing and binding quality of all the books.
- Monitor industry trends and technology advancements to stay ahead of the competition.
- Continually push to improve workflow efficiencies and ensure QC standards for overall productivity & quality improvements.
- Ensure overall budget and costing of all the jobs & on that basis negotiating with Vendors
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in printing technology, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the print industry, with a strong understanding of paper purchase, production and vendor management.
