The Director Business Development - Private Networks will serve in a key role with responsibility for achievement of company growth in Private Networks Solutions / RAN segment. As part of our Strategy Team, this role is a hands-on position ensuring Private Network Solutions are accurately positioned with prospects and clients to achieve revenue targets. You are expected to be a subject matter expert and relationship owner with key prospects, clients, and partners in the Private Networks ecosystem. The role also develops and maintains key relationships in strategic accounts and opportunities as agreed with Management.


The Director Business Development is responsible for prospecting, proposing, and contracting primarily with prospects to provide Private Networks solution including variants of RAN as well as Core. The individual filling this role should be able to demonstrate his industry experience in Wireless / 4G LTE & 5G technologies.



Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining and further developing subject matter expertise, thought leadership and key relationships in the Private Networks ecosystem
  • Prospecting and presenting to Private Networks (LTE & 5G) prospects to promote Private Networks Solution
  • Present pricing proposals for customers in all verticals our Private Networks Solutions
  • Interface with Sales and Marketing, to gather leads for prospects for Private Networks Solution offerings
  • Evaluating new relationships for strategic value and modeling hypothetical results
  • Tracking strategic sales by size and differentiation in Private Networks Solutions segment



Qualifications:


This position requires significant attention to detail, as well as constant communication with internal team members and external partners and clients. The successful candidate is proactive, creative and an assertive advocate for key clients and the assigned segment. The candidate for this role has strong communication skills (written and oral), can work concurrently on multiple projects, works well with others, and learns quickly.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Telecom or equivalent
  • 15+ Years’ experience in a quota bearing position in Private 5G space
  • Ability to hear, understand, articulate, develop, and document specific requirements, business cases, timelines, and forecasts
  • Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects in the 5G, IOT, Wi-Fi and LTE communication space
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Successful history of being part of team sales: i.e., partnering with sales and support teams for new business capture
  • Detail-orientation with an ability to prioritize and meet aggressive goals
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional groups to accomplish goals
  • Solid written, oral, and presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences inside and outside the organization
