SME/Solution Architect - Core:

Job Description - 1

HCL is looking for active and experienced professionals in Telecom (Mobile Network) industry for Validation & Test Automation team for leading OEM Client. The responsibilities of ideal candidates,

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will execute Test Cases manually on 5G - Packet Core Network functions like MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, UDM, NSSF, NRF, SMF, PCF/PCRF, UPF, etc.,
  • Candidate will perform Network function deployment, provisioning, manage complete NF Testing cycle
  • Will document Test execution logs for Test Automation Team
  • Will automate Test Cases for 4G-Evolved Packet Cores using Python Scripts
  • Candidate will develop Test Script for 4G/5G RAN and Core nodes, dependent libraries for networks component, adapters for 3rd party test tools.
  • Candidate will share Automation Test Reports and participate customer daily standup meeting
  • Debug the Automation failure and resolve the issue

Skills Required / Mandatory - Primary

  • Extensive Knowledge in 5G Packet Core Nodes – Network Function especially MME, SGW, PGW, PCRF, HSS, AMF, UDM, NRF, PCF, SMF, UPF
  • Troubleshoot the network node issues and optimized solution in Test environment
  • Knowledge on network function deployment in Docker, Kubernetes environment using Orchestrator

Skills add advantage / Secondary

  • Handon working experience in developing Python automation scripts in EPC/5GC nodes, Robot Framework or PyATS framework is added advantage

  • Will automate Test Cases for 4G/5G ORAN and CRAN nodes using Python Scripts

Skills Required / Mandatory - Primary

  • Strong knowledge on 4G/5G Protocols and experience in Deployment models
  • Strong knowledge on ORAN and 3GPP spec is mandatory
  • Extensive working experience in developing Python automation scripts in RAN (DU/CU) nodes, Robot Framework or PyATS framework
  • Troubleshoot the network node issues and effective handling in Test scripts

Skills add advantage / Secondary

  • Knowledge on network function deployment in Docker, Kubernetes environment using Orchestrator
