About Us


The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand started in 2013. We are one of India’s largest online merchandising platforms with licenses like Disney, Warner Bros., WWE, IPL, Viacom18 to name a few. Apart from selling products with themed designs such as superheroes, movies, TV shows, and cartoons, the brand also is at the forefront of the latest youth style and fashion trends. In addition to core men and women wear apparel categories, we are also in the process of expanding to new categories and introducing new product lines in the existing categories like activewear, supima products, innerwear, personal care products like perfumes and very recently launched footwear and kidswear.


Although we are primarily an online brand, we’ve expanded in the offline retail space as well and have 26 offline stores with plans for expansion pan India.


The Souled Store was born out of the idea of loving what you do, from the soul. We believe that people do their best work when they love what they do. There are too many Monday mornings and you can’t go dreading every single one of them. Over the years, we have built a strong team of like-minded people that work smart, own their work, and think like leaders. Responsibilities:


  • Leadership & Management:

-Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5-6 designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.

-Develop and maintain effective communication channels within the team and with other departments.


  • Design & Development:

-Oversee the design and development of the menswear collection from concept to final product.

-Ensure that all designs align with the brand’s identity and target audience preferences.

-Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, materials, and techniques, incorporating them into the design process.


  • Product Development Management:

-Manage the Product Development - Menswear team, ensuring smooth transition from design to production.

-Ensure that all product development processes are efficient, cost-effective, and align with quality standards.


  • Trend Analysis & Research:

-Conduct thorough market research and trend analysis to identify new opportunities and ensure the brand remains competitive.

-Analyze customer feedback and sales data to refine and improve future collections.


  • Collaboration & Coordination:

-Work closely with the marketing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure cohesive product development and launch strategies.

-Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality production standards and timely delivery.

-Collaborate closely with the founder to align menswear strategies with the overall vision and goals of the brand.

-Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.


  • Strategic Planning:

-Develop and implement long-term strategies for the menswear department, aligning with the overall business goals.

-Create seasonal design briefs and mood boards, presenting them to senior management for approval.


  • Budget Management:

-Manage the menswear department budget, ensuring cost-effective design and production processes.

-Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to optimize costs without compromising on quality.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in fashion design, with a focus on menswear.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the fashion industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of menswear designs.
  • Excellent understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, and production processes.
  • Knowledge of product development processes and management.
  • Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for pop culture and fast fashion.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder management is highly desirable.
