1. ProjectEvaluation:

Reviewproject specifications architectural drawings and other relevantdocuments to understand projectrequirements.

Conductsite visits or consultations as needed to gather additionalinformation and assess project scope.

2. Cost Estimation:

Utilize your knowledge of aluminium materialsfabrication processes and construction techniques to developaccurate cost estimates for aluminiumbasedprojects.

Analyzeproject blueprints and designs to determine quantities of materialsrequired for fabrication and installation.

Evaluate labor costs equipment expenses andother projectrelated expenses to provide comprehensive costestimates.

3. VendorManagement:

Liaisewith aluminium suppliers subcontractors and vendors to obtaincompetitive pricing and ensure timely delivery ofmaterials.

Negotiatepricing agreements and establish relationships with reliablesuppliers to optimize project costs.

4. Budget Planning:

Collaborate with project managers and salesteams to develop project budgets that reflect accurate costestimates and profitability targets.

Identify costsaving opportunities and valueengineering solutions to maximize project efficiency withoutcompromising quality.

5. Documentation andReporting:

Preparedetailed cost estimates including itemized breakdowns of materialcosts labor expenses and overheads.

Maintain accurate records of projectestimates revisions and cost variations throughout the projectlifecycle.

Generatereports and presentations to communicate cost estimates projectbudgets and financial analyses tostakeholders.

6.Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry trends market pricesand technological advancements in aluminium fabrication andconstruction.

Identifyareas for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within theestimation process.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Engineering ConstructionManagement or a related field with 3 to 5 years ofexperience.

Provenexperience in aluminium estimation or a similar role within theconstruction industry preferably in the field of doors andwindows.

Indepthknowledge of aluminium materials fabrication methods and industrystandards.

Proficiencyin cost estimation techniques quantity takeoff software andspreadsheet applications.

Strong analytical skills and attention todetail with the ability to interpret complex project requirementsand specifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the abilityto collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and externalstakeholders.

Abilityto work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fastpacedenvironment.

PreferredQualifications:

Professional certifications related to cost estimation such asCertified Cost Professional (CCP) or Certified EstimatingProfessional (CEP).

Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software andconstruction management systems.

Experience with value engineering and costoptimization techniques.

Knowledge of local building codes regulationsand permitting processes related to aluminium constructionprojects.
