The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event production and in-house production operations. This role ensures timely, efficient, and high-quality execution of event work, while also managing the production house’s processes, resources, and output. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and an eye for detail to deliver exceptional event experiences.


Key Responsibilities:


Event Production Management:


• Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end event production activities, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards.

• Supervise the on-site execution of events, including set-up, technical rehearsals, and dismantling.

• Collaborate with event planners, designers, and vendors to translate creative concepts into practical, high-quality event executions.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at event sites.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any production-related challenges during events.


Production House Management:


• Manage the production house’s workflow, including fabrication, printing, and assembly of event props, backdrops, and decor.

• Supervise production staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.

• Maintain and optimize equipment, tools, and machinery in the production house.

• Oversee inventory management, procurement, and resource allocation to ensure seamless operations.

• Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain consistent output standards.


Team Leadership & Coordination:


• Lead, mentor, and motivate the production team, including freelancers and contractors.

• Coordinate with internal teams (designers, event managers) and external vendors for smooth production execution.

• Conduct regular meetings to align production goals with project timelines.


Budgeting & Reporting:


• Prepare and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

• Monitor expenses, track production costs, and provide regular financial reports to management.

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Production, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in event production and/or production house management.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

• Strong technical knowledge of event production elements (AV, staging, lighting, etc.) and production house processes (fabrication, carpentry, printing).

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
