We are looking for an experienced Collection Specialist who will engage regularly with assigned customers, via telephone and other forms of communication with customers to ensure the timely payment of invoices and assist with the resolution of any disputes or queries raised by customers


Roles and Responsibilities
  • Reviewing the company debtor list
  • Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to either collect the overdue amount or negotiate a payment plan to collect it in installments.
  • Engage regularly with assigned customers, via telephone and other forms of communication with customers to ensure the timely payment of invoices.
  • Review, follow & update all the allocated cases. Collect payments & curb the overdue accounts
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure that collection efforts are coordinated and effective.
  • Keeping detailed and accurate records of all collection efforts and communicating with management on the status of outstanding debts.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Requirements:
  • 1- 3 years experience candidates
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Writes clearly and informatively. 
  • Should be able to perform duties independently
  • Ability to work flexible hours
