Role Overview:

The General Manager for Recruitment and Placement will be responsible for managing and enhancing MAPL’s recruitment and career services. This role demands strong leadership and industry expertise to design and implement strategies that ensure successful placement outcomes for learners and foster lasting partnerships with industries.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Network Development:

  • Build and maintain a nationwide network of Skill Centers, ITI Colleges, Universities, and talent hubs.
  • Develop and nurture partnerships with industries, corporates, and other stakeholders to identify and fulfill manpower requirements.
  • Design and implement strategies to mobilize and source talent effectively for diverse industry openings.

2. Recruitment Operations Management

  • Coordinate with industry partners to understand and collect job requirements and manpower needs.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including candidate screening, interviews, and final selection.
  • Ensure seamless mobilization and onboarding of selected candidates, providing necessary logistical support.
  • Manage recruitment data and analytics to track performance and optimize operations.

3. Industry Collaboration:

  • Identify industry demands and tailor recruitment programs to meet specific needs.
  • Represent MAPL at industry forums, career fairs, and partnership meetings to promote its placement services.

4. Placement Management:

  • Drive end-to-end placement activities, ensuring timely and relevant opportunities for learners.
  • Monitor placement outcomes and implement improvements to meet placement targets.

5. Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor the recruitment and placement team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and innovative team culture.

6. Operational Excellence:

  • Develop systems and processes to streamline recruitment and placement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and organizational standards.


Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (MBA

or equivalent preferred).


Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or human resource

management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

  • Proven track record in the staffing industry and demonstrated ability to manage large-scale

recruitment projects.

  • Strong network and relationships with corporates, industries, and educational institutions.
