JobResponsibilities

1.Understandthe concept & ideation from the Management. Translate the new ideas into acomplete plan of action.

2.PerformInternational Market Research, Trend and Competitor analysis, and providerecommendations accordingly.

3.Suggestand present new styles/ designs/ collections with proper product mix as perrequired price point, quantity and quality standards suggested by management.

4.Discuss with Management & finalize the designsand products to be launched or optimized. Review periodic reports and fine tunethe plan accordingly.

5.Participate in new project meetings & share thenew work information with all the team members.

6.Guide& supervise the preparation of Brief Sheet for upcoming collectionsincluding USP of products. Objective is ton

provide the error free brief sheets.

7.Clarifyall the doubts and issue of the concerns, related to the concept, designs/ aesthetics& manufacturing of

the designs.

8.Activelybe involved in various product development stages right from conceptualizationtill final product goes live.

9.Keepeye at every stage of the project, working as a checkpoint for CAD, 3d,Photoshop Teams for best product output.

10.Participatein discussions regarding designs with CAD (should be able to visualize CADfiles from production point of view), 3D, Imaging, Production & Live team.

11.Coordinatewith Product development team and monitor new product launch timeline to ensurenew merchandise is launched as per the decided timeline.

12.Workon categorization on website in coordination with the reporting officer andoptimize the existing categories as per data analysis.

13.Stayupdated with the happenings in International Jewelry Market, keep watch oncompetitors’ move and make counter strategies.

RequiredCompetencies:

1.Experiencein Merchandising and Product development of Precious and Semi-Precious ColoredGemstone and Diamond Jewelry with an ecommerce Company.

2.Strong and thorough knowledge of Precious andSemi-Precious Gemstones and Diamond Jewelry.

3.Musthave design and development experience for Japanese, France, Germany, UK marketswithin the colored gemstone and diamond jewelry space.Knowledge of USA would be an added advantage

4.Must have Knowledge checking CADs/ CorelDrawings.

5.Knowledge of Gemstone Sourcing, Production, Inventory planning andfulfillment would be an added advantage.

6.Experience of handling jewelrymerchandising for Ecommerce platform would be an added advantage.

7.Onewho has participated and represented his company in International Jewelry Showswould be preferred.

8.Updated knowledge of fine jewelry

9.Strong Excel and analytical skills.

10.Ability to take initiative and work autonomously.

11.Strong verbal and written communication skills.

12.Strong project management, analytical skills,numerical skills.

13.Excellent market analysis skills.

14.Abilityto establish and maintain positive working relationships with key members tofacilitate accomplishment of work.

PreferredQualification:

Higher Diploma/Degree in Jewelry designing & manufacturing –Candidates from reputed institutes – NIFT/ NID etc will be preferred.
