Job Title: Quote Representative

A key member of our team, the Quote Representative plays a vital role in providing resale pricing and lead-time for quotes to Mouser customers. This position requires excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of customer BOM quotes.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Contact Mouser's suppliers to obtain purchasing information, including cost and lead-time, while effectively communicating requirements and interacting with various departments.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze the impact of decisions before execution and demonstrate attention to detail in work habits, while being able to multitask efficiently.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and interact effectively with internal and external business contacts.
  • Format and complete BOM Quotes using advanced Excel features and Mouser's proprietary BOM tool, conducting thorough audits to ensure accuracy of results.
  • Accurately document all transactions in the quote, both internally and with the supplier.
  • Support local and regional Customer Service teams and provide assistance to other regions as needed.
  • Participate in the company's total quality process and represent the organization professionally.
  • Show a willingness to learn and expand knowledge of the business and industry.
Required Skills and Certifications:
  • Possess potential for advancement to the next level Quote position.
  • Have working knowledge of purchasing, business marketing or sales.
  • Be proficient in PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other software.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and etiquette.
Education and Experience:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electricals.
