Key Responsibilities


Implement, configure & optimize ServiceNow Discovery to ensure accurate infrastructure data collection.

Design, manage & maintain CMDB for accuracy, reliability & integrity.

Perform reconciliation, normalization, and audits of CMDB data.

Troubleshoot Discovery probes, sensors, MID Servers, and data mapping issues. >Integrate third-party systems with CMDB for seamless data flow.

Define CI classes, relationships, and data models aligned with ITIL practices.

Prepare documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.


Key Requirements

5+ years of strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Discovery & CMDB.

Expertise in Service Mapping, MID Servers, and Integrations.

Proficiency in CI Data Modeling, Normalization, Reconciliation & Health Dashboards.

Strong knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, and ITOM frameworks.

Troubleshooting skills for Discovery errors & CMDB health issues.

Excellent communication and ability to work independently in remote projects.

Preferred Skills


Experience with Cloud Discovery (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Knowledge of ITOM & Event Management.

Scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide, PowerShell, Python) for automation.

Familiarity with Service Mapping & Dependency Views.
