About Rang De:

Rang De ( is a fintech startup that aims to revolutionize credit access for underserved communities by connecting individual lenders and borrowers together, cutting out the need for an intermediary, and offering highly customized and affordable loans than traditional lenders.


Having pioneered the model in India in 2008, Rang De's purpose built technology platform has proved to be game changing for providing timely access to credit for thousands of farmers and entrepreneurs. We recently pivoted into an NBFC-P2P and have a highly differentiated model from other peer-to-peer lending platforms.


As the Chief of Staff within the Founder's Office at Rang De, you will play a strategic and influential role in supporting the Founders in driving the organization's mission and vision forward.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key liaison between the Founder and other members of the leadership team, facilitating alignment, collaboration, and communication across departments and functions.
  • Drive special projects and initiatives on behalf of the Founder, from conception to implementation, ensuring timely execution and delivery of results.
  • Conduct research and analysis on strategic issues, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, presentations, and events attended by the Founder, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with objectives.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Founder's Office and the organization as a whole.
  • Represent the Founder and Rang De in meetings, conferences, and events as needed, communicating Rang De's mission, values, and impact effectively.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in a chief of staff or senior leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Prior Entrepreneurial/Product Leadership experience will be an advantage
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information, analyze data, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with discretion and tact.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other productivity tools.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Passion for social impact and alignment with Rang De's mission and values.
