About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator - Tool Linux to oversee the deployment, automation, and optimization of Linux-based systems. This role combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Linux administration, automation tools, performance monitoring, and security best practices. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What You'll Do :

Linux Administration :

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).

- Perform upgrades, patch management, and system performance tuning.

Automation & Tools :

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python.

- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, or Terraform.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization :

- Deploy and configure monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).

- Analyze system performance and resolve bottlenecks.

Security & Compliance :

- Enforce security best practices, including vulnerability assessments and remediation.

- Manage firewalls, SELinux, and access controls for secure environments.

Cloud & Virtualization :

- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Work with hybrid or cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications seamlessly.

- Mentor and train junior Linux administrators.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.

- Generate performance, security, and availability reports.

Must-Have Skills :

- Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).

- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl).

- Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).

- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform).

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, Nagios).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
