Position Title: Plant Head Department: Plant Operations (Veg Unit) Reports To: COO / Director – Operations Location: Manufacturing Plant – Chatha Foods Limited (Lalru, Punjab) About Chatha Foods Chatha Foods Ltd., a BSE-listed company, is a wholly owned division of Chatha Foods Ltd., dedicated to producing high-quality vegetarian food products including flatbreads (tortilla, Malabari paratha, roti canai), shelf-stable RTE rice, gravies, sauces, and frozen-to-fryer snacks. The facility is a part of the brand’s diversification and automation expansion strategy. We are seeking a dynamic Plant Head to lead this new facility, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and top-tier food quality. OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE To lead, manage, and optimize all manufacturing operations at the plant to achieve the highest levels of productivity, product quality, cost efficiency, and safety. The Plant Head will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining customer service levels, and building a culture of discipline, continuous improvement, and team performance aligned with the business goals of Chatha Foods Limited. Qualifications & Experience • B. Tech/M. Tech in Food Technology, Meat Science, or Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred) • 15+ years in meat/poultry/RTC-RTE manufacturing • 5–7+ years in senior plant leadership • Proven expertise in meat processing, cooking, freezing, and hygiene management • Experience with BRC/FSSC, HACCP, and customer audits (QSR/export) • Skilled in yield optimization, energy management, and waste reduction Key Competencies • Strong technical command over meat processing and automation systems • Excellent people leadership and cross-functional coordination • Deep understanding of food safety, CCP management, and regulatory norms • Results-driven and financially astute • Ability to drive continuous improvement and lean practices Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Operational Efficiency: OEE ≥85% • Yield Management: +3% Yo Y improvement • Quality & Compliance: Zero NCRs, 100% audit compliance • Cost & Profitability: -5% Yo Y energy cost • Safety & People: Zero lost time incidents, ≥90% retention • Strategic Execution: On-schedule NPD commercialization Compensation & Benefits • Base Salary: ₹TBD • Variable Pay: 10–20% (based on KPIs and profitability) • Benefits: Car/allowance, relocation support • Long-Term Incentive: Performance-linked profit share Why Join Us • Lead one of India’s most integrated RTC/RTE manufacturing plants • Drive efficiency, innovation, and profitability • Be part of a progressive, professionally managed, BSE-listed organization Apply Now: /
