About Our Client Our client is a prominent player in the white cement and wall care segment, known for its strong manufacturing footprint and recent pivot toward digital transformation. With operations across several plants, the organization is investing in IT leadership to modernize infrastructure and enhance business agility. Job Description - Lead IT operations and digital transformation across four manufacturing units. - Report directly to the CEO of the white cement business. - Collaborate with heads of HR, Finance, and Commercial functions. - Drive modernization of legacy systems and promote adoption of digital tools. - Ensure robust IT support in remote plant locations. - Champion e-business applications and train internal and external stakeholders. - Work closely with the central processing team for planning and monitoring. - May have a dotted-line reporting to the Group CDIO. - Oversee implementation and optimization of enterprise systems like S4 HANA. - Manage a team and foster a culture of digital awareness and capability. The Successful Applicant A successful IT Head should have: - 12-18 years of post-qualification experience in IT leadership roles. - Graduate in Computer Science (BE/BTech) or any discipline with certified IT education (minimum 3 years). - Proven track record in digital transformation within manufacturing sectors. - Experience in process industries such as Cement, Chemicals, Steel, EPC, or Industrial Goods. - Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems and remote operations. - Exposure to manufacturing, sales & marketing, and supply chain functions. - Ability to collaborate with CXOs and drive cross-functional digital initiatives. - Hands-on leadership style with the maturity to manage diverse teams. - Willingness to work from plant locations; 6-day work week. - Age not exceeding 45 years.
