Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate with the production, warehouse, and sales teams to align dispatch with order fulfillment.
  • Generate dispatch documentation such as invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and shipping labels.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with transporters and logistics partners for vehicle availability and route planning.
  • Track shipments and provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatches, including goods dispatched, quantities, destinations, and vehicle details.
  • Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damages in transit, or documentation errors.
  • Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure safe handling of goods.
  • Implement and follow safety, quality, and environmental standards in dispatch operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in dispatch/logistics within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Knowledge of transport documentation and government compliance (e.g., GST, E-Way Bills).
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple priorities.
