Homologation

Job Overview
: We are seeking a Sr. Engineer in the Homologation department to lead the homologation process for a retrofit emission control device and automotive related products. The candidate will be responsible for driving all the homologation related activity I.e., both technical and non-technical for the system, leading the homologation team, and ensuring the successful completion of the type-approval and CoP projects that meet regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop powerful and enhanced homologation strategies & roadmap for the retrofit emission control device and automotive related products
• Developing and managing relationships with the Test Agencies and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth execution of the projects.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the homologation team, ensuring the team is effectively executing homologation strategies and meeting timelines.
• Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
• Develop and manage the homologation budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
• Role will involve full ownership of homologation-related projects in the company.
• Foster a culture of process-driven ideas across the engineering team, encouraging cross-functional teamwork and open communication.
• Working in ambiguity while ensuring the team remains focused and motivated. Also, majorly play active part in company level strategy
• Manage external homologation partners and provide guidance on homologation requirements.
• Developing & managing necessary contacts for regular exchange of regulatory information.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• At least 3 yearsof experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 years in a leadership role.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and homologation partners
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
