Job Title: Business Consultant Data Migration Developer Key Responsibilities Develop data migration scripts using procedural SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL, PostgreSQL). Work with data objects and metadata including tables, views, indexes, sequences, constraints, and BLOB/CLOB objects. Analyze legacy data structures and map them to target models. Build extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading (ETL/ELT) logic for migration. Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle. Collaborate with data engineers and architects to align migration scripts with the overall migration strategy. Perform reconciliation, checksums, row counts, and validation for migrated datasets. Troubleshoot migration issues, script failures, and data mismatches. Document migration logic, mappings, and data transformation rules. Support trial runs, mock migrations, and production migrations. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in procedural SQL (PL/SQL / PostgreSQL / T-SQL). Experience in creating data migration scripts and working with relational data models. Solid understanding of database objects and associated metadata (tables, views, triggers, indexes, sequences). Experience in handling structured, semi-structured, and BLOB/CLOB data . Knowledge of data quality checks, validation techniques, and reconciliation methods. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work closely with data engineering teams and business stakeholders.
