Role & responsibilities :

A Lead Data Migration role for SAP LTMC/LTMOM requires leading end-to-end data migration projects to SAP S/4HANA, involving data analysis, mapping, transformation, enhance existing structures and validation.

Key responsibilities

include coordinating with functional teams, managing data loads using tools like LTMC/LTMOM, ensuring data quality, supporting cutover, and troubleshooting issues.

Essential skills include expertise in data migration tools, data mapping/transformation, and a strong understanding of SAP master and transactional data.

Key responsibilities

Lead the migration process: Direct end-to-end data migration projects from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA

Data analysis and mapping: Analyse legacy data, map it to target SAP structures, and create data templates and transformation rules.

Expertise SAP tools: Use the SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM) for data loading, and potentially tools like SAP Data Services (BODS) for ETL activities.

Data quality and validation: Ensure data integrity through cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting errors during loads.

Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants to understand data requirements and with business stakeholders to validate data.

Documentation: Develop and maintain migration-related documents, including test scripts, mappings, and logs.

Cutover and go-live: Assist in cutover planning and execution to ensure a smooth transition of data.

Post-migration support: Provide support for any data-related issues after the migration is complete.

Required skills and experience

Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (LTMC) and Object Modeler (LTMOM).

Expertise in data mapping, data transformation, and data validation.

Proficiency in data formats like Excel and CSV.

Expert understanding of SAP master data - BP, Material Master, Vendor Customer Integration (VDI) and transactional data.

Knowledge of SAP modules like MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, PM is often a plus

Experience with pre-load/post-load validations and reconciliation frameworks.
